Weight Loss Salads: 6 Perfect Summer Recipes

In the spring and summer, you want to eat easily and correctly, and salads come to the fore in the diet. “Green”, vegetable and fruit, they are seasoned with low-calorie veg sauces and help to keep weight within the framework without problems and without depression caused by a uniform diet. Alena Zlobina, founder and ideological inspirer of the Taste & Color project, at the request of Marie Claire, shared recipes for such detox salads.

Salad “Time to lose weight”

Ingredients

150 g of white cabbage
1-2 carrots
1 beets
1 green apple
1-2 stalks of leaf celery
Greens (dill, parsley, cilantro)

For refueling
1-2 tbsp. l lemon juice
1-2 tsp linseed or olive oil
Soy sauce (instead of salt)

Cooking

We chop the cabbage quite finely, cut the beets into strips, chop the celery into cubes. Peel the carrots from the peel and rub on a Korean grater. Cut the apple into small cubes. If desired, you can add greens, but it is better to chop finely and make sure that coarse stems do not get into the salad.

Mix lemon juice and dressing oil. Combine all the ingredients in the salad bowl and season with the finished sauce. If you want to salt the finished dish – use soy sauce to taste.

“Green salad

Ingredients

½ cup fresh spinach
Medium pickled cucumber
Medium fresh cucumber
½ avocado (peeled)
1 tbsp. l olive oil
1 tsp soy sauce
sesame oil
lemon juice
mix sunflower seeds

Cooking

Fresh and pickled cucumbers, cut the avocado into thin strips (approximately 5×3 mm). Tear spinach leaves into small pieces. Mix everything and sprinkle with a mix of seeds. Preparing the dressing: mix a few drops of sesame oil with olive, add soy sauce, sprinkle with lemon juice. We season the salad with the resulting sauce and serve.

Detox salad

Ingredients

2-3 inflorescences of broccoli
1 avocado
1 bell pepper
1 green apple
½ tbsp. l sesame
½ tbsp. l flax seeds
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp. l vegetable oil

Cooking

Peel the avocado and cut into small cubes, grind peppers and broccoli in the same way. We clean the apple and cut into strips. We mix all the ingredients in a salad bowl, add flaxseeds and sesame seeds. We prepare the dressing from vegetable oil and lemon fresh, season the salad and mix thoroughly (you can add a little salt to taste).

Spinach salad

Ingredients

2 cups spinach leaves
2 tbsp. l olive oil
Juice ½ lemon
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ carrot (grate)
½ avocado
Fresh cucumber

Cooking

In a separate bowl, mix the spinach and grated carrots. In a small bowl, prepare the sauce: mix olive oil, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. We connect the contents of two containers in one plate. Cut avocados into slices and spread on top of the finished salad. Decorate the salad with rings of cucumbers.

Orange Boom Salad

Ingredients

1 large carrots
1 orange
Pumpkin seeds
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp mustard

Cooking

The main ingredients ─ carrots and orange ─ peel and cut into thin cubes (if desired, the orange can not be peeled ─ the zest contains a lot of vitamins). Preparing the sauce: mix olive oil, soy sauce, mustard and balsamic vinegar. Mix salad, season with ready-made sauce and decorate with pumpkin seeds.

Cabbage Mix Salad

¼ part of the average head of cabbage (white or purple)
¼ red pepper
¼ yellow pepper
1 carrot
1 avocado
1.5 tbsp. l lime juice
3 tbsp. l hemp oil
3 sprigs of cilantro
Flaxseeds

Cooking

Chop the cabbage on a fine grater, cut red and yellow peppers into small cubes. Cut avocados into small cubes, and three carrots on a Korean grater. Mix vegetables and add cilantro. Preparing hemp oil and lime juice sauce. Dress the salad and mix well. At the end, add hemp seeds ─ they can be sprinkled on top, or you can mix with salad.
