How to Dye your Hair at Home No Worse than in a Salonadmin
Even at home you should look beautiful. Not for the admiring glances of the man (this is attached), but for herself. Therefore, do not wait for the quarantine to end – get rid of overgrown roots and faded length yourself.
Almost a month has passed since the beginning of self-isolation and it is time for girls with dyed hair to think about how to renew their color at home. We have put together a few tricks that will help you do this as simple as possible and without harm.
For starters, hair dyes are divided into household and professional. In the box with household paint, most often you will find almost everything you need for staining: paint, an oxidizing agent, gloves, an applicator for applying and a mask or balm after staining. Professional paints are sold without auxiliary means, so for the first experiments it is better to take household paint.
In addition, all colors have a depth of tone and in fact its color. Depth is the first digit of the paint number and it means how dark the paint is: for example, 1 is black and 10 is very light blond. If you do not want to bother with bleaching, choose the colors of the depth of your native hair.
If your hair has not grown too much, you can still try tonics, tint balms and gel-like dyes. These are physical dyes that do not give a long-term effect, a beautiful shade will last a week or two, depending on how often you wash your hair.
There are still tinting sprays that hold on until the first rinse, but it is not very convenient to apply them on your own, the skin next to the hair will be covered with micro-drops of a coloring substance, like from a spray bottle.
When working with tonics, put on gloves and quickly wipe off the paint from the skin of the face and neck, if you do not want to go “spotted” later.
Semi-permanent paints have a huge plus – they are more gentle, it is more difficult to burn hair, and they also have no characteristic unpleasant odor of persistent paints. Therefore, if you are worried about the condition of your hair after the experiments – stop on ammonia-free paint. The technique of applying paint will be the same as that of resistant paints.
Permanent paint with lightening
To lighten your hair, you will need clarifying powder and a 1.5-3 percent oxidizing agent; oxidizing agents higher than 6 and 9 are not recommended for use at home. You will also need a special shampoo to stop the lightening reaction. The exception is if your color was warm, and you want to change it to cold, for example, ashen. If you dye immediately, without removing the previous pigment and without bleaching your hair, there is a very big chance that your hair will become a greenish tint.
Permanent inks without discoloration
The basic staining procedure is written on the package with paint: follow the instructions, we will talk about important details:
Prepare everything you need for staining in advance. Ware for paint, combs and brushes should not contain metal.
Use new paint. After contact with air, the paint begins to oxidize and the result may be unpredictable.
Coat your neck, ears and forehead with fat cream.
Divide the hair into 4 parts: occipital, temples and forehead, fix with plastic clips. Apply the paint on the partings from the back of the head to the forehead, whiskey – the last.
Separate hair into partings of 0.5 – 1 cm, generously and evenly apply paint to partings.
Do not be distracted, apply the paint as quickly as possible and be sure to check the time, do not overdo the paint on your hair.
Paint does not need to be wrapped with a film or heated with a hairdryer, it is better on the contrary – to provide hair with uniform access to air.
It is advisable to use a special deep cleaning shampoo after paint.
If the resulting shade is too intense or not the way you wanted, try not to grab at the new paint for at least a week. A mask of olive oil or sour cream will help reduce the color intensity.
